During tough economic times, it is sometimes necessary to cut costs whenever possible. By spending some extra time
researching the market, you could potentially save your members thousands of dollars.
What this means is that it may be time you should be thinking about re-evaluating your online registration costs and fees. Sure it might require some extra work,
however, saving your members a small amount in registration fees can make a huge difference in your enrollment numbers.
Crunch the Numbers
Let's do some math here to illustrate. Say, on average you collect $150 per person, with an enrollment of 800 members. If your fees average about 5 percent (which is $7.50 per person),
this will cost you a total of $6000! Lets say for example you found a company that allows you to reduce your fees to 3.5% ( or $5.25 per person), this would save your club a total of $1800!
Things change all the time, competition changes, technology changes, so you might be paying too much and could get the same thing (or better) for cheaper.
So, when times get tough, it's time to get creative and step out of your comfort zone. You might in store for a very welcome surprise. |
